Roberta is in the best phase of her life. Recently separated, she lives with her daughter Nara and enjoys a freedom she hasn’t experienced in a long time. She works as a vocal coach and leads a quiet life in the Peixoto neighborhood. Until Roberta attends a party at the invitation of one of her students and watches the premiere of the soap opera “A Má Mãe”, by a renowned author named Modesto Estrela. The show becomes an instant ratings success. But something feels familiar to Roberta. She discovers that the storyline is based on her life. And worse, she is the villain of the soap opera.
