The Wild Blue Yonder (2005)
Sobre o filme
An embittered alien, native of a planet submersed in water, tells of the defeat of his people when they came to Earth many years previously, in an attempt to co-habit with human beings. In the meantime, a group of scientists who had departed 15 years before on a mission, return in a time tunnel and land on Earth 820 years later. They find a planet that is completely deserted, back again to its state of natural vegetation, a place to be protected as a patrimony of humanity. Underwater scenes and several real images from NASA missions in a space shuttle, together with statements from real NASA scientists, imbue the film with a feeling of vertiginous philosophical and existential immersion.
