Guenther and Paul are two youngsters who believe life should be lived to the hilt and free of rules, which also applies to love. Together with Hilde, Guenther?s sister, they decide to spend a weekend in a country house. Paul is fascinated by Hilde and falls in love at once. In principle, she also seems to share his feelings. Hilde, however, has, for some time, been meeting a boy called Hans, Guenther?s ex-lover. All three hold a party in the gardens of the house and invite a group of friends. Hans surprisingly shows up and produces a true upheaval in everyone?s emotions. Out of control, inebriated with alcohol and drugs, the four characters head for a tragic outcome.
