.Juan Olmedo is 40 and a survivor of a shipwreck from which only his niece and a mentally handicapped brother were saved. To forget his tragic past, he moves to the Atlantic coast of Cádiz. Far away as he is, he meets with unexpected support from Maribel, his assistant, and from Sara, a stranger who is a newcomer to the region, in facing up to the painful memories that pursue and torture him: a secret, hopeless love for his sister-in-law and the mysterious death of Damián, a brother for whom he felt both love and hate.
