A wife and mother in the 30 age bracket, Michale works in her father?s accounting firm, where the clients are Israeli ultra-orthodox organizations. Her day-to-day life unfolds within this narrow family circle, where religion is a considerable factor. She relieves the pressure of this routine where there is little room left for individual expression, with an extramarital affair as an escape valve and, this allows her to carry ahead with social appearances. When her lover dies in a terrorist attack, Michale?s world is shattered once and for all. The relationship with her father and with her Sephardite husband rapidly deteriorate.
