Experimental animation in which the words of a poem narrated sort of come to life. Pam, a poet, lives in a house close to the port of Sydney. A friend on a visit to London sends her a postcard from the Tate Gallery. The card is a reproduction of Gwen John`s "The Convalescent", painted in her Paris studio in 1923.
