Sobre o filme

The story of two people driven by despair, who end up taking extreme measures for their right to the ownership of a house. Even though the house is just a small dwelling up California State, for Kathy Nicolo it is the last trace of hope of living a life nearly destroyed by addiction. As the result of an administrative error, Kathy is evicted from her house and can’t stop it from being auctioned at a much lower price than its actual value. The new owner, Massoud Amir Behrani, sees the property as the fulfillment of the American dream he had pursued years before fleeing Iran with his family. A former Iranian Air Force colonel, Behrani went to America and took up menial jobs in the hope that better days would come. Now that he has invested all his savings in the purchase of the house, he believes that it will bring prosperity for him and his family. As the dispute for the property gets more and more bitter, Kathy finds an ally in Lester Burdon, a cop who becomes a strong and dangerous defender of her cause.
