Feature-length version of the Academy Award nominated short Cashback (2004), by Sean Ellis. Ben, an Arts student, suffers from insomnia after breaking up with his girlfriend. He uses therefore his spare time at night to work in a supermarket. In this environment, he meets different people that give him artistic inspiration. The artwork Ben practices involves all his imagination and, in his mind, he stops time to rebuild every interesting scene he sees in this static world. He uses his power in stopping time to appreciate Sharon, a shy cashier who works with him and could have the solution for his insomnia.
