Chuquiago is the indigenous name for La Paz, where the action of this film takes place. The script tells four stories, in which each character, like in the city, has an increasingly low standard of living the higher they live in the area. Each episode corresponds to a geographic level, and the protagonists represent four different ways of life within a framework of alienating illusion and frustration.
