Days before the confrontation between the U.S. and Iraq. An Iraqi secretly crosses the frontier between Iraq and Iran in a small boat. His final destination is a village where he intends, with friends who deal in smuggled goods, to borrow a wedding dress. One of his friends gives him a dress that has been worn by several women in the village, but tries to convince him not to return to Iraq, for war has broken out and a wedding is not feasible under these circumstances. In spite of his friend?s entreaties, the Iraqi visitor is determined: he packs the dress into the boat and leaves without knowing what to expect.
