The movie tells the story of two brothers, Inês and Rafael. Since their parents’ divorce, their family never saw Rafael again. Inês runs away seeking for him, when she’s told he’s back at Guincho beach for surfing. Former surf champion, Rafael goes surfing into dangerous waves every day, testing his life’s limits. Guincho beach bonds them onto a heaven on Earth promise, for it’s the last place where their family lived happy together. But Inês is surprised by watching her brother stare at the Sintra ridge, where the Capucho’s monastery is, fearing that this has brought back the memory of their parents’ divorce.
