Young Alex forfeits her room in a university dorm to share a house with classmate Kiki. In spite of problems with the owner of the property and of the differences in personality between the two, the relationship evolves from mere school mates to great cumplicity. The only one who seems not to take to the friendship between them is Sandu, Kiki?s brother, with a sick jealousy for his sister. Some months later, now as assumed girlfriends, they decide to spend their holidays at the house of Alex?s parents in up-country Rumania. All goes well until Sandu appears on the scene determined to carry Kiki off, back again to Bucharest.
