The Real State (2007)

Marcos Loayza and his staff run all over the country. In every station, they recognize words, treasures, melodies and passions. With almost a hundred interviews, they portray the real state of things in Bolivia. The documentary is about the discussions in Constitution Assemblage, above all of this, the polemical which already arouse the National Note about Human Development 2007, The State of the State, the investigation that ran the filmmakers’ work. Loyaza intertwine speaks from different social leaders, politicians and intellectuals with song versions of national hymn in distinct idioms and emotive interpretations of vernacular songs. The diversity of the Bolivian culture is among the fight for the senses of social exclusion, the points of a new economy and the urgency to construct a State that attempts the wishes of the people.
