Elephant takes us to an American high school on a normal day of classes, arguing, dating... To each student we meet, the school represents a different experience – enriching and friendly to some, difficult and lonely for others. But this peace and quiet is shaken rigid... The film was made with young non-professional actors and was awarded the Gold Palm for Best Film and Best Director at the Cannes Film Festival.
