In a morning of January, 2001, a convoy of five Land Rovers and a crew of 16 people left from the National Museum, in Rio de Janeiro, towards Northeast of Brazil. They were paleontologists, researchers, photographers, producers and cameramen. They were all searching for Brazilian dinosaurs fossils, habitants from a remote past, from more than 100 million years ago. On the way, they find out herbivorous and carnivorous dinosaurs footsteps, insects, fish, pterosaurs bones, hidden tracks, amazing landscapes and, above all, anonymous habitants surrounded by stories and myths. Brazilians who live very close of this remote past, aside from the scientific theories, also have their own interpretations about the beginning of the world.
