Three stories are told concomitantly each on the subject of the quest for love for people living in a lonely world. In the main episode, a man loses hope subsequent to his wife?s death. He reads a biography of a deaf and blind girl that shows her courage and will to live, and the man?s life takes a new direction. The book is being translated by his son who, in the process, introduces him to the woman. The second story is about a bodyguard with two loves: he is fond of his food and in love with a business woman living close by his flat. In the last story, two youngsters get to know each other through the internet. One, however, abruptly ups and leaves, leading her friend to a ceaseless quest to learn the reasons for her departure. The script introduces fiction characters around the person of Theresa Chan, deaf from the age of 14 and who later turns blind. She plays herself.
