Sobre o filme

Holly, a Vietnamese little girl of 12, has been sold by her poverty-stricken family and brought over the Cambodia border illegally to be a prostitute in the infamous K11 district. Holly is waiting for her precious virginity to be sold for a high price when she meets Patrick, an American expatriate losing his money in gambling and his friends in brawls. Their strange relationship comes to an end when Holly is sold to a child trafficker and disappears. Patrick?s efforts to find her and Holly?s struggle to escape her fate, takes them on a journey through the beautiful, rugged scenery of Cambodia. Holly is not just a little girl. She is the voice for millions of children who, each year, are exploited and violated, deprived of their rights. The script for the film is the result of studies carried out by Project K11, created to defend the rights of the children. This is one of the last films by the brother of Sean Penn, actor Chris Penn, who died in January 2006.
