Men on the Edge (2005)
Sobre o filme
Palestinian and Israeli fishermen live and fish together between Israel and Gaza, on an abandoned contour of land in the Mediterranean. They have co-existed there for 16 years, against all odds. The documentary shows the lives of this varied group of men of different cultures who join forces and work together owing to the hard work in face of the forces of nature. These men were observed for four years during which a journey was made through the soul of man - an erotic male relationship of domination and strength, in that they are men, fighters, and because there is something stronger. They feel an attraction owing to physical proximity and contact. Who is going to catch more fish? Who is strong enough to withstand hard work? What are the rules, and who is going to follow them?
