I’m Not There (2007)
Sobre o filme
A different kind of cinebiography of the greatest American rock icon Bob Dylan, in a fragmented and stylish narrative. Seven actors, among them big Hollywood stars, play the musician in different moments of his life and career, during the 60s and 70s. One of the most original personifications in this unusual format gave Cate Blanchett – brunette, with curly hair and wearing black glasses – the Vulpi Cop as Best Actress in 2007 Venice Film Festival. The film also won at that festival the Special Jury Award and the “CinemaAvvenire” (dedicated to innovative movies that point out to future solutions). Other curious casting choice was the young adventurous Dylan being played by black boy actor Marcus Carl Franklin. The soundtrack uses original versions and covers of Dylan’s songs, including the hit “Like a Rolling Stone”.
