Lettera Aperta a Un Giornale Della Sera (1970)
Sobre o filme
In order to counteract the problem and, again, to appease their own conscience, a number of leftist intellectuals from Rome write a letter to a daily newspaper declaring themselves ready to leave the country as volunteers for Vietnam. The letter produces a heated debate, and many of the men feel themselves under obligation to comply and sign up for the mission. Fortunately, shortly after they leave, news arrives that Hanoi will not take foreign volunteers. A rare incursion into Italian cinema on the issue of the Vietnam war, the film has never been shown in cinemas in Brazil.
