Lustre (2003)
Sobre o filme
Produced during the 12 months subsequent to the attack on the Twin Towers, the film tells the story of Hugo, a solitary man who believes New York has no more soul. Nothing seems familiar to him, neither the skyscrapers, nor the persons in the streets. With an Old New York as reference, Hugo begins to find some difficulty in distinguishing what is real from what is not. He is pursued by strange visions and, at night, hears voices of people from the past. Is Hugo going out of his mind or is he no more than a sad man forced to view the world with new eyes?
