Each day in USA, two thousand children are reported as disappeared. The suspense Gone Baby Gone - an adaptation from the best seller of Denis Lehane - follows up the explosive case of a missing up little girl. But inside this investigation there are many secrets and a sinuous labyrinth of social classes, corruption, evil and innocence. The tale begins in the district of Dorchester, Boston, where streets crowded with laboring classroom show destroyed families and broken dreams. Although being a little bit hesitant about accepting the investigation, the particular detectives Patrick and Angie know the neighborhood and discover the truth about Helene, the drug addicted mother of Amanda. Beyond the holophotes from the media, they put strong together with the determinist detective Remy Bressant and with the police captain Jack Doyle - although, just in the moment the case seems has come to a solution, with the shot of a gun sadness fate of Amanda comes up. While everybody tries to go on with their lives, a somber Patrick can’t forget anything. As long as he persists on the tracks he has, he catches himself in a web of lies, which every time becomes more complicated, since it’s inside a shocking secret that will take him to face a moral problem which will put him and the public questioning themselves what actually is right.
