Suburban Snoopy and Júlia, the "girl from Ipanema", meet one day on the way to the cinema and, to the sound of rock, new on the national scenario, start on a thrilling love affair amid the effervescent cultural life of mid-winter Rio de Janeiro, 1972. Each is accompanied by their own group. Snoopy`s includes Zé, his best friend and best musician of the band they are working on, Vide Bula, and Tião, a mysterious man with a host of demons circling his soul. Júlia`s friends include Ciro, a young real estate broker from the Stock Exchange, secretly in love with his friend, and Monique, Júlia`s flighty cousin. The cast for the film includes the children of important names in the field of Brazilian arts, such as Dandara Guerra (the daughter of filmmaker Ruy Guerra and actress Cláudia Ohana), Bem Gil (daughter of Gilberto Gil), Marcelo Faria (son of Reginaldo Faria), and Lúcio Mauro Filho.
