Nomadas (2000)
Sobre o filme
Nomadas dwells on the lives of four characters with no roots, whose fate it is to traverse a cold grey world full of violence and disillusion. The plot is abstract, onyric, and full of tension, such as that which is the driving force to an impossible love affair between Sara and Alex, doomed to live out a parallel existence. “We try to experiment and use the tools that cinema offers to generate a world of sensation. For this reason, we opted to carry the narrative weight of the film with the acting, sound, photography and editing, more than in a literary, closed plot, and thus to arouse a new state of mind in the spectators. Nomadas is not a dogma, it is not a code, not a story, but a mystery to be broached on several fronts, not with the purpose of solving the mystery, but of having the benefit of the same”, says the director, that within this unreal texture broaches dreams, illusion, loneliness, and love in the day-to-day life of the four protagonists.
