Pascale lives on an ancient farm that has been restored by her twin sons, François and Thierry They are adult, but quite incapable of coping with life on their own. Married for years, she and her husband continue to fight between themselves, even after they are divorced. Pascale?s new companion encourages her to sell the property and, with the money, start a hostel in the Alps. The children vehemently oppose the plan and fall out with their mother?s lover. Desperate because she is not free, Pascale leaves home. Her absence is to trigger a veritable war between her children. Actor Yannick Renier is Jérémie Renier?s brother (from L’Enfant, selection for the 29th Mostra). This is his first feature and, also, the first time he is on screen with Jérémie. Isabelle Huppert also stars in another attraction in the 30th Mostra, The Comedy of Power.
