Man’s Gentle Love (2001)
Sobre o filme
The story of a young man at the dawn of the 21st century. He belongs to the most vulnerable, futile and appealing segment of the society. Raoul flirts with many women, like Agathe, from whom he’s leaving the bed when the film begins, or Mariette, his first love in life met again by chance. The only woman to whom he concedes some tenderness is Verónique, a melancholic widow. In search for seemingly unattainable love, he meets Jeanne in a bistro, an addicted girl who is fated to live freely and tragically. Adaptation of the novel “Penses-tu Réussir!”, written in 1897 by Jean Tinan, developed with the use of musical compositions by German Max Reger (1873-1916).
