Hearings are, today, free to investigate the nature of Italian justice, its institutions, and those who are active therein. Facts, interviews, and reality scenes make a spectator feel that he/she is present at a session seeing how the main protagonists act and how they feel. And the protagonists are: a judge of the court of appeals, aged 70; amusing, impetuous Elena, age 45, assistant to the judge, and the most important criminal lawyer in Naples. All of them work together on the trial involving the Camorra, the mafia organization active in the city of Naples. This controversial film makes us aware that justice is more and more efficient in metering out punishment to the weak.
