A fable inspired on the cannibal instincts of the praying mantis, an insect which devours the male immediately after copulation. Sylvia is a disturbed woman divided between her absolute love for Julien and powerful murderous instincts. She experiences the feeling that a praying mantis is growing inside her. She is panic-stricken, and ready to do anything to spare Julien from death, and goes off in search of another man that will be willing to give up life for her. Young Patrick falls into the fatal trap.
