Scream of the Ants (2006)
Sobre o filme
A religious woman falls in love with an atheist. They get married and decide to spend their honeymoon in India where, aboard a train, they start a great discussion on faith and religion. The impact of their discussion is broken by a Holy Man who stops the train with only a look. As from then, both experience a series of untoward situations that lead to their separating. While the husband loses himself in the syncrectic universe of the cow-god, the woman wanders through the desert in search of a perfect man. Mohsen Makhmalbaf filmed the feature entirely in India, his parents? contry of origin. He was fifteen years trying to make his dream come true, but was invariably stopped by the bureaucratic problems imposed by the Indian government.
