Eugênia is bound to Enzo by tender feelings, when Giovanni appears on the scene and falls in love with her. Difficulties adapting to social life cause Eugênia and Enzo to take a decision and move to Africa. Giovanni is left alone and gradually dies away. The love triangle serves as a microcosm for a society disillusioned with the ideals of the seventies. The film was not released on the commercial circuit in Brazil.
