A documentary on Lucio Costa, the city planner who designed Brasilia. The film shows scenes of the city being built, vast material from archives in Brazil and abroad, scenes by Lucio Costa himself from the thirties to the sixties with statements by personalities such as Oscar Niemeyer, Ítalo Campofiorito, Sergio Ferro, and Otília Fiori Arantes : and by family members. His life is told as from his work, highlighting his interaction with Niemeyer and another architect central to the architecture of the twentieth century, Le Corbusier. "This is not a biographical film, but an endeavor to focus on Lucio’ trajectory as an individual, extremely important as he was, in developing modern architecture in Brazil", explains
