Capturing the Friedmans (2003)
Sobre o filme
A reconstruction of the Arnold Friedman case as from television news, homemade video, and statements from family, the police, victims, and court employees. He is a professor of computer science from a respected Jewish family in New Jersey who commits suicide while in prison. Friedman taught children and, in 1987, was accused of involvement with child pornography, pedophilia, and corrupting minors. His youngest son, Jesse, age 18 at the time, was also arrested as an accomplice. Several different versions of the facts are in evidence in the film, selected as the best documentary at the Sundance Festival.
