Sobre o filme

To get over his past and get himself a job as a motoboy, Héracles, a young black man from the outskirts of São Paulo will have to carry out twelve tasks in the course of one day. On this journey, with the support of his cousin Jonas, he will encounter government employees, lawyers, teachers, drug traffickers and, possibly, future colleagues in the same profession. Although to all appearances he may seem frail, of sensitivity not always understood by his friends, Héracles will have to face intolerance, injustice, desire, and temptation in situations that are characteristic of a big city like São Paulo. The film is a contemporary second reading of the myth of Hercules, the greatest of all Greek heroes, son of Zeus and Alcmena who had to carry out 12 labors imposed by the Oracle at Delphos to expiate the crime of having killed his wife and children in a bout of anger. And a panorama of life in the great cities is outlined, emphasizing the effort and the struggle of youth without much of a future.
