The Edukators (2004)
Sobre o filme
Jan, Peter and Jule make up an inseparable trio of friends. Peter and Jule are a couple, while Jan and Peter share the same apartment and a very unique political activity. The two boys believe that in order to change the world it is crucial to do something concrete and they do much more than just take part in antiglobalization demonstrations every year. Every night they secretly go out in their van and choose as target a big and uninhabited house. Wearing masks, they break into the property, move the furniture around and leave a mysterious note behind: “your days of plenty are counted”, and sign as “the edukators”.
In the mean time, the girl, Jule, has faced great financial difficulties ever since she crashed her car into a fat cat’s Mercedes, the entrepreneur Hardenberg, and was sentenced to reimburse him for the extremely expensive repair costs. The sentence gobbles up quite a big chunk of Jule’s salary, and she comes out in anger against what she considers to be a total injustice. One night when Peter is away from town, Jan and Jule decide to teach Hardenberg a lesson by refurnishing his house. The story takes an unexpected twist when Jule forgets her cell phone inside.
