There are 45 men behind the locked windows of a prison for deported people in Rothenburg. Most of them have not committed any crime at all. Detained first as illegal immigrants, each prisoner costs the government the sum of seventy euros a day. The film follows along with six prisoners during the final weeks before deportation: amongst these, young Turk, Sedat, whose dream it is to marry his girlfriend, and Kurd, Kemal, ready to risk his own life to avoid deportation.
