Robinson’s Crusoe (2003)
Sobre o filme
Robinson is a real estate broker who is extremely devoted to his job. He is successful and lives in a modern hotel in Taipei, but his prime objective is to leave off everything and start a new life. Over the Internet, he finds the ideal place to make his dream come true – Crusoe Island in the Caribbean. Fascinated, he works hard to purchase the island. However, this apparent social stability does not hide deep loneliness on the part of the character who steadfastly avoids the women who seek him out. To him, love has become fastidious overload, just as has the ‘workaholic’ existence he leads.
