Sacco and Vanzetti (1971)
Sobre o filme
Boston, the United States, in the early 1920s. Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeu Vanzetti, two anarchist Italian immigrants, are arrested by the police on charges of assassinating an accountant and a watchman. The trial was entirely political and did not take justice into account, for both were foreigners subscribing to a political doctrine that was opposed to the conservatism that held the reins of power in the country. They were not absolved - not even when, five years later, a third man confessed to having committed the crimes. They were finally sentenced to capital punishment and executed by electrocution on August 23, 1927.
