Through episodes told almost by accident, a man sitting in front of a camera tries to present an idea of himself and the things that affect him. Despite his best efforts to form a logical and rational discourse, he only manages vague impressions and disconnected ideas that alternate between the comic and the melancholic. Past and present events fill up the monologue of the man, an heir to one of the great families from the grand neighbourhood of Higienópolis in São Paulo, until it suddenly dawns on him that his life is going in one direction while the rest of the world is going in another. The solitary man realizes that the more he lives, the less he understands the evermore confusing and inexplicable everyday life he shies away from. Feeling the hands of time forcing themselves relentlessly upon his body and his life, the lonesome man can be very dangerous.
