Wolf Times (2003)
Sobre o filme
Film maker Michael Haneke says that this is his answer to Hollywood catastrophy films. When Ana, her teenage daughter and her son of 12 arrive to spend a holiday at the farm, they find it is taken over by strangers who refuse to leave. They seek assistance from the neighbors but can trust no one. From one minute to the next, all of society has lost its civilized values, have turned nomad, and can attack them at any time. Without food or water, in the middle of the night, mother and children try to find shelter and eventually come across a boy surviving off the remains of cadavers. Continuing their fearsome journey, they follow a train line where a group is in wait of a hypothetical train. Even with dignity lost, some people are sensitive to poetry and to love.
