The World’s Fastest Indian (2005)
Sobre o filme
Burt Munro is a man who has never allowed his dreams to fade away. He owns an Indian motorcycle and is resolved to run a test on the motorcycle in a racing trial on the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah. Although the prognoses are against his winning, including because of his age, Burt manages to set a new record. To the present time, his 1967 speed record has never been broken. Born in a small town in New Zealand, Munro exited from the narrow confines of provincial anonymity to become legend. He is regarded as a hero in his country. Based on real facts and inspired on a documentary on his life by Roger Donaldson and Mike Smith, in 1971.
