Wholetrain (2006)
Sobre o filme
The story of a crew of four graffiti-writers : one of the most influential youth-cultures of our time : David, Tino, Elyas and Achim, who have committed themselves to graffiti-subculture and all its particular hierarchies, rules and codes. Every night they go out to cover the city’ trains with their unique, colorful pieces. When another crew enters their territory, a heated creative conflict erupts that will change the protagonist’ lives forever. It’ a tense, emotionally gripping drama that for the first time explores the secret cosmos of the graffiti-subculture. The four protagonists live on the edge, constantly shifting between two worlds : their personal life and the life as graffiti-writers. The film won many awards, like, among others, Best Feature Film at the 2006 Urban World Vibe Film Festival (New York); Best Youth Film at the 2006 Sarajevo International Film Festival; Best Feature Film at the 2006 Exground Film Fest (Germany); and the Special Mention “Dialogue en Perspective” at the 2006 Berlin International Film Festival.
