Two young friends are fed up with the daily routine of their jobs, which offer them no hope for the future. They decide to venture out into the world and grab the future with both hands. They embark on all kinds of adventures from Rio de Janeiro to Lisbon, but always end up getting themselves into trouble. From disaster to disaster, they come up with the idea of a heist. To help them, they seek assistance from a famous detective story writer, but he has to be persuaded to join the scam. When the pair finally draw up the plan and think they can carry it through, soccer, love and friendship may wreck the whole thing up. But, at least, crime is a promise of equal opportunity for all.
