An account of ten years in the history of the Wadi Rushmia Valley, west of Haifa. Just like in Gitai’s first visit, in 1981, the region continues to be a settlement point for Arab and Jewish populations, most of whom nowadays come from Russia. Each of these communities bring with them traces of their own culture and lifestyle, which are slowly left behind in a continuous adaptation process that conveys both their instability and dynamism. These people’s circumstances and personal stories reflect the social and political context of the region, which is showing clear signs of deterioration.
