You Really Got Me (2000)
Sobre o filme
Jan is the pathetic owner of a luncheonette with no customers. Helle, his companion no longer has any more patience with the tireless optimism of her husband who expects to strike it rich one day. When she discovers that Jan has invested all of his money in yet another undertaking without much future, she decides to end their relationship and to leave home. Jan attempts suicide and, in doing so, comes across the site where Iver Mo, a rock star, is held in captivity, having been kidnapped while he was making love to Grete, wife of Bent, a member of Mo’s band. The kidnappers are Rolf and Robert, two bungling hired outlaws. The case is covered by Norwegian TV and becomes a hit. You Really Got Me marks the return of the partnership between Director Pal Sletaune and script writer Jonny Halberg, the same duo who were in the acclaimed and no less non sense Junk Mail (1997), the director’s first feature.
