Three characters, one man and two women, float on a canoe. Tired, the stop rowing and give in to their faith. One of the women tells her story: she escaped from prison with the help of a guard without finding the comfort she was looking for. Restored by The Film Foundation’s World Cinema Project and Cinemateca Brasileira in collaboration with Arquivo Mario Peixoto and Walter Salles. Restoration carried out at Cinemateca Brasileira and Cineteca di Bologna/L`Immagine Ritrovata Laboratory. The film will follow the screening of the short SEA OF FIRE, by Joel Pizzini
