Damiel and Cassiel are two guardian angels who see the world in black and white. Dressed in long dark coats, they observe humans, listen to their thoughts and try to comfort them, but are invisible to them. Everything changes when Damiel falls in love with the trapeze artist Marion. In order to stay with her, he is willing to become human, which means giving up on his immortality and seeing the world in colors.
