The Italian maestro Francesco Lotoro has dedicated himself to search and collect music composed by prisoners during World War II. The songs are the result of years of incarceration in concentration camps —Jews, gypsies and political prisoners found consolation in music, which became an act of resistance. Besides archiving the compositions, Lotoro performed all of them.
