Born in Madrid, Spain, in 1981. Orr graduated in audiovisual communication at Complutense University of Madrid, and studied at the Lisbon Cinema School (ESTC). For more than ten years he has collaborated as assistant director with reputable Spanish filmmakers like Alberto Rodríguez, Javier Rebollo, Federico Veiroj, Lois Patiño and Elena López Riera. He directed the short movies “The Ants” (2007), “Gentlemen” (2011) and “Good Morning Resistance” (2013). His feature debut, “Niñato” (2017), was screened at the 41st Mostra, and was awarded at Visions du Reél and BAFICI. “To Our Friends” is his second feature film.
