Aitor Arregi was born in Onãti, Guipúzcoa, Spain, in 1977. He studied film at the Center for Performing Arts of Sarobe. He co-directed features like “Sahara Maraton” (2004), “Glup” (2004), “Christopher Tremendous” (2006) and “Lucio” (2007), presented at the 32nd Mostra. and “La Trinchera Infinita” (2019). Jon Garaño was born in San Sebastián, Spain, in 1974. Garaño studied journalism and marketing in San Diego. He directed the short films “Miramar” (2006), “On the Line” (2008) and “Asämara” (2008), in addition to the feature films “The Dragon House” (2005, 30th Mostra) and “For 80 Days” (2010, 34th Mostra). Together, they directed “Handia” (2017), winner of the special jury prize at the San Sebastián International Film Festival, and “La Trinchera Infinita” (2019), which received the critics’ prize and best screenplay and direction awards also at San Sebastián.
