Born in Pennsylvania in 1984 and lives in Brooklyn, New York. He studied at the Tisch School of the Arts and worked at Kim’s Video, in Manhattan. Perry made feature films like “Impolex” (2009), “The Color Circle” (2011), “Shut Up, Philip” (2014), presented at the Sundance Film Festival and winner the special jury prize at the Locarno Film Festival, “Queen of the World” (2015) premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival, “Golden Exits” (2017) and “Her Smell” (2018), screened at the Toronto International Film Festival.
